 Response paper 5. What are Cunningham’s concerns about how the museum depicts slavery? What do you think the museum director means when he states, “What I argue is: This is not a black museum. This is a museum that uses one culture to understand what it means to be an American.”  How does this approach to depicting history to the public compare to the approach in the Hall of Fame?
